Grandparents Forbes' Birthday Party

My Mom threw my Grandma and Grandpa Forbes a surprise birthday party for both of them since their birthdays are within days of each other. They had no idea we were all going to be there. Almost all of the family was there except for a few. Even my uncle Daren from Colorado and Uncle Kim and Aunt Jonna from St. George were able to be there. I love when we all get together because we love each other and we love being with each other; fun, so fun.

My Grandma and Grandpa Forbes are so special. They were very close to our family all growing up and I have so many happy memories of them. We used to spend the night at their house and they would let us stay up and eat popcorn and watch classic movies. Then they let us eat a bowl of cereal before bed. Then we got to wear special PJ's that they had for us at their house. In the morning Grandma would make us waffles with yogurt on them and we would stuff ourselves. I love, love them.

Cute baby Violet. Don't you just want to eat her up?

My cousin Mekelle and her cute baby Bridgette, and my cousin Rachel, who took these beautiful pictures. Then on the left is my aunt Jennifer holding MaKayla, with Ethan, Shelby and Jordan.

I am so glad we had this party; it was great to see everyone and spend time together. Family is the best.

Hardware Ranch

We were craving the sunshine and so we headed up the canyon to see if we could find it...
We went to Hardware Ranch with Jim and Kris and their kids, Melissa and Lynn and their kids, and Kevin's cousin Kari and her two kids.
Kevin was "scoping" out the monster elk he is going to get this fall.

Lynn and Myles, Lillian, Claire and James.

Hallelujah we found the sun! Do you see that sunshine? It felt wonderful, still cold, but so good.

We got to pet the horses who pulled our sleigh; Reba and Ruby. How cute are those names?

After the Ranch we found a hill to sled down. The hill was dangerous though because it just kind of dropped off at the end. So they had to dive for the kids as the came down the hill and catch them.

We had some injuries on the hill but it was mostly fun. Plus it was great just to get out of the house and spend some time outside!

Camera Fun

Lillian got a hold of the camera and took some cute pics of herself.

Happy New Year

We celebrated the New Year with my family down in Bountiful. I guess we were laughing too hard on New Year's Eve to take any pictures, because there aren't any! We laughed so hard some members peed their pants and it wasn't Lillian or Isabelle!
New Year's Day Kevin and the girls made a snowman family like our family. I know how cute. My Dad gave Lillian the Junior Mints to use for the eyes and mouth but Isabelle quickly took them away. She wouldn't let them go and is holding them in every picture.
