After the appointment we went to the zoo. Our first stop, the elephants.
At first the metal elephant was a little scary with its loud bellowing. When the girls were reassured it was not real they felt brave enough to get a closer look.
Isabelle loves penguins. I don't know why, I find them cute but a little smelly. She loves them despite the unpleasant odor.
She even wanted to ride one on the merry-go-round.
I love love love this picture; adorable.
One last hello to the metal, bellowing elephant before we left. They obviously became fast friends.
We absolutely had to stop at the playground so said the girls. Giant spiders, even if they're fake, yuck.
The finale, the train ride.
Here are the tears when they find out we have to leave. We had a great day at the zoo. A few rain drops couldn't dampen their
enthusiasm!
