Kevin - The World Traveler

In June Kevin traveled to Europe for work for 11 days! He traveled first to the Netherlands, then to Germany, then he flew to Ireland and spent the night, then on to Brest, France, next to Bordeaux, France, then to Paris, France, and finally he flew home. What a whirlwind trip right?! I was thinking about going with him until I heard his schedule and how much work he had to do, and said, it sounds fun but I think I will just stay home.

It was really hard to have him gone for so long! We were so glad to have him home. I found I had taken for granted how much Kevin does for our family. He really is such an amazing husband and father and we are so grateful he is home. I really don't know how soldiers and their families say goodbye for so long. After our short time apart I had a greater appreciation for those who sacrifice on behalf of our country.

I'm so glad you shared these pictures so I can dream about going there! I'm sneaking in his suitcase next time he goes.

Hayley- Brest apparently wasn't a very beautiful city-interestingly enough. Kind of ironic isn't it.
