Michael and Sarah got married in the Palmyra, New York Temple. How cool right? It is a beautiful temple; but aren't they all? This one is amazingly beautiful. I don't know if it shows very well but the windows are all stained glass with trees on them; they are so stunning and symbolic.
The ceremony was beautiful. They were married by a friend of Sarah's family, who is also a member of the Temple presidency. He gave comforting, fatherly, sound advice. There was a lovely spirit during the wedding. We were all glad we were able to be there to share this with them.

Don't they look adorable?

The temple looks out over the Sacred Grove. Michael and Sarah wanted some pictures close by it. We decided to go back in and look around, seeing as how the last time we were in the middle of a downpour. It was a gorgeous day and it was absolutely picturesque inside the grove.

After the wedding in Palmyra we went to visit the Hill
Cumorah. This statue with Angel Moroni is at the top of the hill. Again, it was a perfect day!

That night we went to the reception. Sarah's family did an amazing job decorating the church; it was lovely! They strung icicle lights across the ceiling, there were lots of flowers, it was very romantic.

They danced their first dance as a married couple to 'their song'; but I can't remember what it is. Then they had the parents come and dance and they danced to their songs when they got married. It was super cute. The family all got up and danced as well; it was really fun!

Being the siblings of the groom we saw it as our duty to decorate the car. We had strict instructions to keep it clean, and we tried our best and it turned out pretty well.
I've never seen a couple so eager to leave their reception! They hurry and got dressed and were at the car ready to leave; it was hilarious!
We had a fabulous day; it was priceless.
