Smithfield Health Days 2011

This is my third consecutive year running the Smithfield Health Days 10K and I got to run it with so many of my dear friends. It was the race that got me hooked on running, so it has a special place in my heart. This year Courtney and I got our best time yet, so it was even better!
After the race is the parade. Lillian was in it on the TaVaci float.
We were close to the beginning of the race but she had given all of her candy away!
That night we got together with our dear friends, Matt and Kristin. Matt was the one who introduced Kevin and I so they will forever be our dear dear friends. We were talking about how Kristin and I (she is also a Davis county transplant) had never been to Martin Harris' grave in Clarkston. So the next day we made the drive out to Clarkston, which by the way is farther away than I thought, to visit the cemetery.

It was cold! The wind was blowing so hard. The girls were good sports to tough it out with us. It was a fun Sunday evening activity to go and teach the girls about the story of Martin Harris; I'm so glad we did it.
